We work in Kettering regularly, from homes near Kettering Medical Center to the neighborhoods along Far Hills Avenue. Advantage is a locally owned Dayton-area company since 2020.
A furnace installation starts with a free in-home estimate. The technician evaluates your current system, checks the ductwork, and determines the right size furnace for your home.
Sizing is based on the square footage, insulation levels, window count, and layout. An oversized furnace short-cycles and wastes energy. An undersized furnace runs constantly and cannot keep up on the coldest Ohio nights.
On installation day, the crew removes the old furnace and disconnects the gas line, flue, and electrical connections. The new unit is set in place, leveled, and connected.
The gas line is pressure-tested, the flue pipe is attached and checked for proper draft, and the electrical wiring is connected to the disconnect and thermostat.
The crew verifies that the condensate drain is routed correctly if the new furnace is a high-efficiency model.
After the connections are made, the technician fires the furnace, measures the temperature rise across the heat exchanger, and checks gas pressure at the manifold.
The blower speed is adjusted to match the ductwork and the airflow verified at the supply registers. You get a written warranty document and a walkthrough of the thermostat controls.
We install Tempstar heating and cooling equipment from International Comfort Products (ICP). We help you compare equipment options, efficiency ratings, and installation costs so you can choose a system that fits your home and budget. Manufacturer warranty coverage depends on the selected equipment and applicable registration requirements. We explain the coverage for your system before installation. Advantage’s labor warranty starts at a minimum of 1 year and extends through the financing term when you finance the installation through Advantage. Financing at 0% for up to 72 months is available for qualified customers.
Advantage has 1,000+ Google Reviews at 4.9 stars.
