Replacing a furnace in Trotwood means more than swapping equipment — it’s about getting the right size, connections, and startup so the system performs reliably for years. Advantage Plumbing Heating & Air handles every step of the furnace installation process, from load calculation and equipment selection to startup testing. You’ll receive a free, written estimate before any work begins, and the NATE-certified technician who completes the job installs to that approved price. Trotwood covers a broad area that mixes urban neighborhoods and rural tracts and includes corridors such as Salem Avenue (State Route 49) and industrial stretches near Wolf Creek Pike, so verifying the home’s specifics up front keeps the install focused and efficient. Call (937) 519-1430 to schedule an estimate.
A professional installation begins with accurate sizing and planning. Our furnace installation workflow includes a load calculation based on square footage, insulation, and layout so the new system is matched to the home — not guessed at. You’ll get a free written estimate before equipment is ordered. Once approved, the crew removes the old unit, makes required repairs or connection updates, sets the new furnace, and runs manufacturer-specified tests. Most standard installs take the better part of a day to complete.
Before leaving, the technician reviews the new system’s operation with you and cleans the work area. We register the manufacturer warranty and hand over all warranty and owner paperwork so coverage is active from day one. Replacing a furnace is also a chance to correct problems from the old setup — undersized equipment, leaking ductwork, or improper returns — and we address accessible issues during the install so the replacement improves comfort instead of repeating past problems.
Replacing a furnace is also the best time to fix problems left by the prior setup — undersized returns, leaky ductwork, or an improperly sized unit. We design the replacement to the home’s actual needs and address correctable issues during installation so the new system improves comfort and efficiency beyond a simple like-for-like swap. Because Trotwood blends urban neighborhoods, rural land, and agricultural areas across a wide municipal footprint and contains local corridors like Westbrook Road, plans are tailored to each property’s layout and access.
We install widely supported, quality equipment that remains serviceable over time. Every installation includes the manufacturer’s warranty plus our labor warranty on the workmanship. Free estimates apply to installations and replacements, and you receive the full quote in writing with no obligation. Work begins only after you approve the estimate, and any unexpected items are priced and shown to you before we proceed.
Advantage has more than 1000 Google reviews at an average 4.9-star rating across the Dayton region, with many customers returning for service.
Our technicians are NATE-certified, background-checked, and arrive in marked trucks and clean uniforms. We hold Ohio HVAC license 51401, maintain BBB accreditation, and have operated the business since 2020.
Every job is quoted flat-rate in writing before work starts, so the number you approve is the number you pay.

If the unit is older than about fifteen years, requires a major part like a heat exchanger, or your heating bills keep rising, replacement often makes more sense. We present both options with pricing so you can decide. Call (937) 519-1430 and we will outline the choices.
Most standard installs take the better part of a day. Jobs that require additional ductwork or structural work will run longer; the timeline for your home is included in the written estimate before we begin.
We install quality, widely-supported systems and match the brand and model to your home and budget during the free estimate so you aren’t steered toward a single option.
